This evening I got the opportunity to hang out with one of my favorite people, Karina, the beauty queen behind Beach and Dress. She was nice enough to snap some pictures of me in my new obsession- this sheer American Apparel maxi skirt. When I popped out of the fitting room at the store to get the boyfriend's approval, a sales associate walking by exclaimed, "You look like a mermaid princess!" The comment instilled some buyer's remorse ("Oh my god! She's right!")...but I've since decided that I don't care.
